by
Many of us have strong academic or research experience but find it difficult to present it in a way that resonates outside academia.
This workshop will focus on how to identify transferable skills, reframe academic experience in a more business-oriented way, and communicate one’s profile more clearly to non-academic audiences. It will be especially useful for those considering careers in industry, business, or other professional environments beyond research.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify and categorize academic tasks into transferable skill groups
- Translate academic achievements into industry‑relevant language
- Quantify accomplishments and link them to business impact
- Adapt CVs to corporate terminology
