Description
The workshop is a two-day synergy event taking place at CERN on 7th and 8th of June 2006. Its objectives are to provide an overview of future trends for magnet development and to link industry with CERN experts in:

1) technologies available for licensing
2) collaboration possibilities at CERN and in the Big Science projects for R&D.

The workshop is targeted to all member state companies and CERN experts working in the field of: Magnets, magnet technologies, vacuum technologies, cryogenics, material development, precision machining and manufacturing technologies – and companies interested in developing and offering CERN technologies as part of their production or products line. Non-CERN participants are limited to 60 people.
