- ARRIVING IN NAPLES BY PLANE: Taxi: From the local airport Capodichino (code NAP), the conference area can be reached by Taxi in 30 minutes. Just outside the Arrivals Area you can find the queue for taxis.Taxi companies offer fixed rates from the airport to different city areas: from Capodichino airport to Via Partenope area the rate is 28.5€ and no extra fee can be added. Ask the driver for the fixed rate of 28.5 € at the start of the ride.
Public Transport: Just outside the Arrivals Area, take the Alibus shuttle for 5€ to "Napoli Piazza Municipio" . From Piazza Municipio it is about 15 minutes to reach the conference area, or take a bus to Piazza Vittoria

The conference venue is located on Via Partenope, one of Naples' main waterfront areas. There are many hotels and B&Bs within walking distance of the venue.

You may also consider staying in nearby neighborhoods, as the entire waterfront and city center are popular tourist areas with plenty of accommodation options.

Pompei visit on the 30th of September

We have organised a visit to the Pompei Archaeological  Park.
When: Wednesday 30th of September 2026 at 9:45 AM local time
Cost: ~45 EUR at your expense. The initial contribution of 45EUR covers the cost of the entrance ticket (22E per person), the cost of the guide (260E to be shared among the participants), the cost of the radio set (2.50E per person). Depending on the number of participants, there may be an extra cost to cover, or a refund. Minors under 18 do not pay the entrance ticket. 
Payment: at  PayPal  (adults 45E, under 18: 23E ). Please pay before the 23rd of September ; if not paid, the registration will be cancelled

By train from Naples
- From Napoli Centrale railway station, follow the signs to the underground Napoli Piazza Garibaldi Circumvesuviana station.
- Take an EAV Circumvesuviana train on the Napoli–Sorrento line and get off at: Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri
- The journey takes approximately 35–40 minutes. From the station, Piazza Esedra is about a six-minute walk.
- Please note that Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri is the most convenient station. Do not confuse it with the Trenitalia station named simply Pompei, which is farther from the meeting point.
- Participants travelling from Rome or other Italian cities should first reach Napoli Centrale by high-speed or intercity train and then continue as described above.
