Electroweak corrections in SMEFT

Europe/Zurich

Description

Future collider machines will be devoted to measure Standard Model (SM) parameters with high precision and further test the possibility of New Physics effects, appearing as possible deviations from the SM, which can be parametrized in a model-independent way through the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT). To meet the required precision, the calculation of higher order corrections is necessary both in the effective field theory expansion and in the SM limit. We discuss NLO QCD and EW corrections in the SMEFT and present some phenomenological results relevant to assess the sensitivity to the Higgs anomalous couplings at the High Luminosity LHC and Future Circular electron-positron Collider.
