On behalf of the RSEF seccion de Exteriores and the Engineering Department at CERN, it is our great pleasure to invite the Spanish-speaking community to participate in the projection of the documentary Blas Cabrera y la historia de la física.
Blas Cabrera Felipe is widely regarded as one of the founding figures of modern Spanish physics. His pioneering work in magnetism, together with his international scientific collaborations during the first half of the twentieth century, contributed decisively to the modernization and internationalization of scientific research in Spain. Through his connections with leading European scientists of his time, Cabrera played a central role in integrating Spanish physics into the broader international scientific community.
The projection of this documentary at CERN represents an important opportunity to highlight the historical and cultural dimensions of scientific development and to foster dialogue between science, history, and society.
