Members present: Hugo, Leszek, Eraldo, Maxim and Tatsuo.

 

Status:

61 pre-registration, 18 of the already paid for.

No replies from DRD1 regarding the contribution funding assigned to the conference, but Eraldo will send a template of the invoice that IEAP should send to CERN.

LOC will send the registered participants a reminder of the available accommodations in the centre of Prague with special discount for the conference.

 

Abstract review

6 appeals for four decisions were discussed (see slides and e-mail sent to the IOC for details), with the following outcome and justification:

- #11, #13, #14, #15 - Amal Sarkar: offer the possibility of presenting two posters (instead of the previously requested one). Content does not justify splitting he work into more.

- #12 - Purba Battacharya: upgrade to oral. Justified by the reduced participation of Kolkata groups and by the consistency of the work carried out by the author.

- #30, #31 - Davide Fiorina: upgrade #30 to oral. It was submitted as poster and judged as such. It is important that CYGNO is represented by an oral presentation.

- #38  - Dong Hyun Kim: separate from CMS group and accept as independent oral. Will write him and CMS that he will focus on the general aspects that are not connected to CMS.

- #99 - Saikat Ghosh, kept as poster. Emphasise in the communication that the work will also break presented in one of the sessions dedicated to flash talks. If he cannot come, the poster cans still be presented by someone and submitted to the proceedings.

- #48 - Kacper Chmiel,  kept as poster. Emphasise in the communication that the work will also break presented in one of the sessions dedicated to flash talks. If he cannot come, the poster cans still be presented by someone and submitted to the proceedings.

 

Hugo will start contacting the authors involved.

 

Support requests from students

The discussion was postponed for the next meeting, but the general opinion was that this could be considered only if the contributions were accepted as oral.

 

Timetable

Will be redone to include the extra oral presentations. It was possible to keep less represented topics within the same session blocks and also to organise them by themes.
