  • Main objective is to use robot as much as possible to minimize risk of RF ball.
  • In addition, with the proposed planning (4 arcs with RF-ball and 4 arcs without) we are also trying to study the impact of RF-ball on line conditioning

  • Main points to note:
    • RF-ball to be done in S45,56,78,81
      • After warm-up. First activity after venting.
      • MSC support for opening in S45 V1 & V2 QQBI10R4.
      • Dates are in planning from EN-ACE (worked out by Giuseppe with Maria)
    • In S12, 23 :
      • We will avoid venting in a small section (DFB to connection cryostat P2) in V2 (static vaccuum) around P2.
        • To be retained by MSC, it will not be visibile in the tracking tool
    • On the non RF-ball sectors, the ICs for robot have been already communicated to Sandrine (these are the ones that SIT accounted as RF-ball in the planning). They are in the Excel file, already verified by Cesar.
      • Some other special ICs need to be kept open for sectorization (which should not be closed in order to allow sectorization for the leak tests). See action below.

Actions:

  • Cesar to send the list of ICs where they need to be the driven actor giving green light or not
  • The tracking tool will show always RF-ball and Cesar will cancel those where it is not applicable (robot).
  • Steps related with PIM check will be added to the workflow following today's discussion. The EDMS will be then circulated
  • In the planning we're missing one IC that needs to be added for VSC. We need to add it to our list.:
    • QEDI5L6: empty cryostat to DFBA
      • NC to replace the PIM in V2. This PIM requires the cutting of M-line (slightly different procedure).

Other notes:

In the planning we had the X-ray of all PIMS opened by BST. Robot alternative would simplify.

The logic is always that after leak test, either X-ray or robot
