Description
Searches for direct and indirect CP asymmetry in the charm sector at LHCb experiment are discussed. The results of a search for time-integrated CP violation in D0 -> h- h+ (h=K,pi) decays, performed with 0.6 fb-1 of data collected by LHCb in 2011, are presented. The difference in CP asymmetry between D0 -> K- K+ and D0 -> pi- pi+, Delta A_CP, is measured to be [-0.82 +- 0.21 (stat.) +- 0.11 (syst.)]%. This differs from the hypothesis of CP conservation by 3.5 sigma. The current results on other searches for CP violation in charm at LHCb in two- and three-body decays will be summarized. Prospects for future measurements and their expected precision with the full integrated luminosity of 1.1 fb-1 collected in 2011 will be briefly discussed.
