This chapter is intended to be a summary of the experience and knowledge gained during the building of the regional projects' grid infrastructures. The document is intended to explain some decisions and choices made during planning, deploying, and operating infrastructure. I prepared WiatG further development for phone conference regarding monitoring tools http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=20695 WiatG further development will be concentrated on following things: BDII web service, sBDII web service, new organization of BDII/sBDII, HGSM (SEE-GRID analogue to GOCDB) web service, Web Applications for visualization of these web services, Alarm dashboard. A part from this, relationship between BDII->GOCDB updates and Downtime Notification automation was discussed at the meeting. I wrote tutorial about Tomcat-SSL integration and DN-based authentication for Web Authentication and Authorization (T8) as a chapter of SEE-GRID Gridification Guide http://wiki.egee-see.org/index.php/SG_Gridification_Guide http://wiki.egee-see.org/index.php/Simple_Tomcat-SSL_integration_and_DN-based_authentication This is a detailed and simple description of Tomcat SSL-integration and DN-based authentication without installing any of middleware components. This can be very useful to those who want to create web applications under Tomcat which will be used by different users that should have different access permissions to various structural parts of the application (just the specific roles or users can see/change parts of the application). Together with AEGIS01-PHY-SCL team I prepared SEE-GRID YAIM RPMs customization. Now all SEE-GRID YAIM customizations can be easily installed on all nodes through the glite-yaim-seegrid RPM. This is described and recommended in the SEE-GRID gLite-3 Guide http://wiki.egee-see.org/index.php/SG_GLITE-3_Guide In the future the customization will be available as RPM for each new release of glite-yaim-core package and for now RPMs are available at http://glite.phy.bg.ac.yu/GLITE-3/yaim/. The site shows "OK" status in EUChina SAM monitoring. The following errors were fixed during the certification. - EUChina voms server host certificates were missing - The site info was missing in the top BDII (lcg007.ihep.ac.cn) in IHEP since the top BDII in IHEP did not upgrade. This caused CE test failure. Because the BDII_HOST in the site point to lcg007.ihep.ac.cn - Fixed sync data problem between SAM and Euchina top BDII so that the site appeared in SAM monitoring. - The site published wrongly because of wrong longitude and latitude configuration. - in EUChina SAM client, GFAL was re-pointed to euchina top BDII(euchina-bdii-1.cern.ch:2170) 2. Support the new site SDU-LCG2 - Guided the new site to register at the EUChianGrid ticket system - Guided them how to deal with tickets - Asked an admin of ticket system add the new site into ticket system in order to send ticket to the new site 3.
