Caribou developers meeting, July 7, 2026

Sammy:

  • started to move components from original Caribou board. Created footprint similar to what is on the baseboard, with three 'dummy' connectors and various templates and components.  
  • Tomas: Mercury footprint etc. is available on Altium web site. Should use this as starting point, because it is verified that it fits. Sammy will check.

Simon:

  • successful SPARC Caribou test beam concluded on Monday.
  • Merged support for SPARC chip into Peary within only 2 weeks, including scripts for lab calibration etc..
  • One bug in new Peary version resulting in currents 10x too low for current sources on v1.5 CaR board. (Resistor value was wrong in software.) Fixed in v1.01. But was not used for H2M, which is the only chip that used the new software version.
