Description

EFTs are an efficient strategy to search for new physics, but the large number of possible models together with a lack of guidance can hinder their efficiency. In this talk, I will review some ideas to overcome this problem: calculations in general EFTs that encompass any particular theory, UV-IR dictionaries to readily translate between models and data, and the use of dispersion relations to map experimental data to theory space.
