Dear all, Following your feedback and trying to accommodate with our respective agendas, the deployment tutorial will take place at CERN next 25th to 27th of June. You can find the tutorial near-final agenda below, having in mind that it might change a little bit to address any questions/issues that might arise from the 1st deployment at IGG. ------------------------------------------------- Day 1: gLite Infra - Core Services & UI - Objective: Understand and measure the complexity of setting up the core services for a gLite infrastructure - Content: - 09:00 - gLite overview, short elements description and explaination of interaction among services (1.5h). - 10:30 - YAIM Tool Presentation (0.5h) - break - 11:00 VOMS description, installation and configuration - 12:00 UI installation and configuration - 13:00 Lunch break - 14.00 : WMSLB installation and configuration - 15 :00 LFC installation and configuration - 16: breakain - 16:30 top BDII installation and configuration - 17:30 discussion and daily checkpoint Day 2: gLite Site - Site Services - Objective: Understand and measure the effort for setting up a Site - Content: Short overview presentation and detailed installation explanation of each services. - Detailed list of services: CE/Torque, WN, sBDii, DPM 09:00 CE/Torque and site bdii, description, installation and configuration 10:30 WN/torque, description, installation and configuration 11:00 break 11:30 DPM description, installation and configuration 13:00 lunch break 14:00 Installation and configuration of UI by attendees 15:30 break 16:00 Installation and configuration of DPM by attendees 17:30 Daily checkpoint and discussion Day 3: Real Deployment - TEST Servers Practical Exercises - Objective: Putting in practice the knowledge acquired in Day1 & 2.
