Interested in tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons and Call of Cthulhu? Never played before? A veteran?
Whatever your experience, we'd love to have you! The CERN Games Club, in association with SwissRPG, is hosting a Tabletop Role-Playing Games social for all experience levels on Friday 18th September at 18h00 in CERN's Restaurant 1 (in the glass extension, see below).
What can I play?
There'll be a load of Game Masters hosting drop-in sessions of a variety of different games, providing a great opportunity to try a new game, meet other players, chat about games, or to gather together one or two new RPG groups.
Everyone is welcome, even if you have never played before.
If you have any questions or comments, you can post on the RPG Channel on Mattermost.
Registration
If you want to sign up for a specific game, please click on the Register button below. Otherwise, you can just show up. There will be numerous games accepting walk-in entries on the day.
If you do not have a CERN access badge, please register to request one.
Getting to the event
If you need help finding your way to CERN Restaurant 1 (Building 501), use MapCERN. The event will take place in the glass extension, on the Building 40 side of the restaurant.
Please note that the main entrance of CERN (Gate B) is currently closed for roadworks. After collecting your badge at the CERN Community Support Centre (Building 33), you can enter the site through Gate A.
ENWorld will be filming at this event
On this occasion we will be joined by ENWorld, who are visiting CERN and will be making a short film/news article about the Games Club. They are interested in talking to people and would like to film some short segments of the games taking place.
If you do not want to be filmed, please indicate this by taking a sticker at the entrance to the event.
Volunteering/Running a game
We are always looking for Game Masters willing to run games at our public events. We also need volunteers to help with meeting & greeting people when they arrive. If you can help, please contact us.
