• new extension to be discussed ASAP to be finished by June 2027
• question: can Uta also go to coordinate online activities, if it comes to this?

 

Goal: We need to find a strategy for the next period (e.g., what is the longterm strategy - let's not just facilitate, but let's empower community to do it)

 

IPPOG's mission

• main offer: connecting
• additional offer: we should also do training
• idea: online masterclasses

 

Suggestion

• 1 year extension; we start now to discuss in the next 5 years
• Anja and Steve to discuss what the plan is
  • look at the European strategy, look at what it means, look at the DG strategy
• CERN:
  • we need more development
  • we need to do training
• Strategy
  • plan for activities: we need to use the money in a smart way
  • Arnaud: IPPOG is useful if it develops
  • find ways to support outreach in the members
