Constraining the Heavy Neutral Lepton parameter space

Heavy Neutral Leptons (HNLs) offer a tantalizing solution to several open problems of particle physics and cosmology, including the origin of
the neutrino masses, the origin of the baryon asymmetry and potentially dark matter. In this talk we examine how the HNL parameter space is constrained by neutrino oscillation data, bounds from direct and indirect searches and cosmological observations. Finally, we discuss the prospects of discovering HNLs at existing and near-future facilities.
