Thematic Industry Day - Cables
This virtual event aims to bring together CERN technical experts and industry around the topic of Cables, spanning the complete range from standard power, control and signal cables to specialised cables designed for radiation and fire-critical environments.
It targets suppliers from Member and Associate Member States with particular focus on those with the capability in the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of:
- Low-voltage power, control and instrumentation cables, halogen-free and flame-retardant, compliant with CERN fire safety requirements
- Signal, data, coaxial and optical fibre cables, including multi-conductor and special-purpose assemblies
- Radiation-resistant cables and materials, together with the associated qualification testing (irradiation, fire performance, ageing)
The event will communicate on forthcoming projects, including an upcoming Qualifying Market Survey, and on how cable standardisation, technical qualification and procurement are managed at CERN.
To participate in the Morning Session - Please "Register" below.
An afternoon session is dedicated to virtual B2B meetings amongst CERN Technical parties, Procurement Team and Companies.
Companies interested in participating are kindly invited to register their profile on the B2Match platform by Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Note: The B2B meetings are primarily intended as an opportunity for companies and CERN to get to know each other better.
Priority will be given to companies that are new to CERN or with whom CERN has had limited previous interaction.
Registrations are subject to approval.
Taking into account positive feedback from previous thematic events, companies will also have the opportunity to organize meetings amongst themselves.
To join your B2B meetings proceed to the B2Match platform ->"Login" -> Enter your password -> "Meetings".
Please keep in mind that meetings can be booked at any time. You will be notified by e-mail.
For more information - refer to Procedures on the B2Match platform.
