Giulio Marino, "Minimal Dark Matter in the sky: indirect detection probes of MDM 5plet"
We critically reassess the Minimal Dark Matter scenario and explore novel indirect-detection signatures. Focusing on the accidentally stable electroweak SU(2) 5-plet originally proposed in this framework, we compute the associated gamma-ray flux, including contributions from Sommerfeld-enhanced annihilation and Dark Matter bound-state formation. We show that these effects give rise to a rich photon spectrum featuring several distinctive signatures that provide promising targets for gamma-ray searches. We then confront these predictions with current FERMI-LAT observations of the Galactic diffuse emission and assess the projected sensitivity of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) through observations of dwarf spheroidal galaxies. Our results highlight the potential of present and future gamma-ray experiments to probe the Minimal Dark Matter 5-plet and its characteristic non-perturbative dynamics
