  • Message from the local organisers on the current situation in Lyon

As the local organizers of the 9th Rucio Community Workshop, we are writing to provide an update on the current situation in Lyon following the recent protests and unrest of which you may be aware.

We are pleased to confirm that neither CC-IN2P3 (the workshop venue) nor the campus where it is located have been affected by these regrettable events. Public transportation has also continued to operate normally. However, disruptions did occur in the city center over the past weekend, which may have impacted your accommodation.

We have prepared the workshop for both in-person and remote attendance, with the aim of delivering an engaging and productive experience for all participants. Given the circumstances, should you prefer to attend remotely, we would fully understand. Please inform us of any changes to your plans at your earliest convenience.

We look forward to hosting you in Lyon next week.
