ROOT Project Meeting
Shift handover: Aaron -> Bertrand
- A few failures with git cloning repositories and disk out of space on windows
- https test failure that serguei was pinged on
- graphic issues confusion: who do we assign?
- Danilo: from now on it's Serguey
- Only 2 new posts on the forum this week
Proposals
- Proposal 1
- bertrand: what do we do with releases that don't compile on certain platforms? 6.36 doesn't compile on the newest visual studio, might be an incompatibility with LLVM
- danilo: in principle we keep on the plot releases that are not dropped, so we keep the plot as is until we figure out what goes on with windows
- Proposal 2: adding an agents.md
- Bertrand and Serguey: fully support it, good starting point for people starting out with these tools
- Aaron: the top level AGENTS.md should make it easier to make extrnal AI contributions follow a certain pattern and easy for us to spot, it should also be minimal because ading extra context on top of all the existing documentation can be detrimental
- Danilo: Jonas R. what do you think since you're the only one who commented on the PR?
- Jonas R.: it's not set in stone so we can go ahead
- Danilo: then we go ahead with this and see how it evolves in the future
