Meet in front of the Globe (entrance on the parking side)

IMPORTANT: The training is only for Guides who have already joined the Science Gateway Exhibitions training. In addition, you need to have completed the Science Gateway Facilities training before guiding there.
This training is for the temporary exhibition at the Globe "Why? It matters. Matière à questions.” from 8 October 2026 to 28 February 2027.
Meeting point: in front of the Globe (entrance on parking side)
Since this is a training for a temporary activity, we ask Guides to only join if they plan to have the time the next weeks/ months to guide in this Exhibition.
The exhibition covers topics from fundamental scientific questions and future accelerators to technological challenges, international cooperation and impacts on society and local communities. It offers a glimpse into the ongoing process surrounding the FCC project — and invites everyone to consider what matters when imagining the future of research.
This exhibitions starts as the initial "Débat public" (FR) and "Concertation" (CH) phases are now over.
Guides in this exhibition will engage with visitors in various ways: distribute stickers for one interactive activity, help with interactive activities, answer questions, proactively propose help.
A good command of French is highly recommended due to the expected interest from local area visitors.
Online documentation will be available on https://guides.web.cern.ch/exhibitions

The number of participants per training is limited. Therefore, should you not be able to join, please cancel your participation.
For questions, you can send an email to guides.manager@cern.ch
