WLCG and EGI accounting meeting

→ Europe/Zurich

Attended:

Panos, Alessandro, Michael, Tom, Maria, Julia

Julia reported about new sites migrated to AUDITOR : CBPF and Prague (two sites, one migrated, another one is in progress)

Julia will also ping Sam Skipsey to get status regrading migration of UK sites. Sam agreed to provide site-perspective presentation regarding AUDITOR migration at the WLCG WS. Julia will contact Maria for CERN input for this presentation. RAL T2 also migrated and RAl T1 is planning to do so in the beginning of the next year. Michael asked Julia to send him an updated list of sites which have migrated.

Maria asked whether the testing workflow for site reporting is available. The old workflow based on the old EGI portal does not work. So we would need to have a new one with a dedicated test instance of the new EGI repository and portal. Tom agreed and will discuss it with the STFC team.

Maria also asked about sustainability metrics in the new portal. This work is being covered by the ENSURE project and we plan to use AUDITOR and PEAR for sustainability metrics. CERN (as site) volunteered to work with AUDITOR on this topic.

Alessandro suggested that AUDITOR should be now handled by UMD and a dedicated support unit for AUDITOR should be created.  Michael agreed. Maria asked whether  UMD is synched with WLCG repository. Julia thinks that it is not, WLCG repository is rather complementary to UMD, Julia will check with Maarten.

Next meeting is in two weeks on the 23rd of October
