    Voltage spikes in MQXFA magnets - feedback from the IT string and plans for upcoming tests

    For the CA07 we are foreseeing Long acquisitions o Vtaps and QA and in addition we also installed microphones to see if the voltage spikes (if present) are anyhow linked to some mechanical events.

    For the MQXFA16b very similarly we installed microphones to try to link the spikes (normally visible from the Vtaps) and see in case the spikes are there if there is any mechanical movement linked.
