        The Nobel Prize in Physics 2026 1h

        The 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to Francis Halzen "for decisive contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin”.

        In this seminar I will describe the scientific journey that led Francis Halzen to the Nobel Prize and discuss the most important results from the IceCube experiment.
