Description
The decays $B_s^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$ and $B^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$ provide strong sensitivity to models of new physics. We report a search for these rare decays with the CMS experiment at the LHC, performed in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7\,\mathrm{TeV}$, with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.9\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$.
