Description
An overview of the hardware changes in the PS and SPS related
to kickers, septa, and septa protection devices will be given, including
modifications to controls and interlocks. Performance related aspects of
selected devices will be discussed, in particular in view of the future
high-intensity and multi-cycling operation. The spare situation for
particularly critical equipment will be reviewed.
