    • 15:00 → 15:10
      news from accelerators 10m
      Speaker: Django Manglunki (CERN)
    • 15:10 → 15:30
optimization of the H2 beam line for low energies 20m
Speakers: Herbert Stroebele (Institut fuer Kernphysik-Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Univ.-Unknown), Ilias Efthymiopoulos (CERN), Dr Zoltan Fodor (Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HU))

Ilias will install new QUAD(s) just upstream of the BPD-2.
This will allow to test two opitions at the beginning of the Be run:
         - the std H2 beam line,
         - the new QUADs used as the last one(s), in this case we have to use only
info from BPD-2 and 3, BPD-1 will be useless.

    • 15:30 → 15:40
exact values of Pb beam momenta 10m
      Speaker: Ilias Efthymiopoulos (CERN)

Ilias will calculate (stiil Fluka problem needs to be solved) values of
the Pb beam momenta which lead to the Be beam momenta at the
        NA61 target of 13A GeV/c, 20A GeV/c and 30A GeV/c.
He will send the required momenta to Django.

number of injections at different energies 20m
Speakers: Django Manglunki (CERN), Herbert Stroebele (Institut fuer Kernphysik-Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Univ.-Unknown), Ilias Efthymiopoulos (CERN)
In 2011 we have two injections at 40, 80 and 158 GeV/c and it was
ok as the beam was well focused and thus the secondary beam intensity
was well above the maximum one given by the rate the PSD double hits)
In 2012 at 13A GeV/c Herbert estimates the intensity to be lower about
factor of 10. In order to partly compensate for this we would need more
           injections.

           We decided to have:
           2 injections at 30A GeV/c,
           3 injections at 20A GeV/c  and
           4 injections at 13A GeV/c

The corresponding NA61 cycles and super-cycle will be prepared.
The NA61 cycles should fit together with the LHC, LHC pilot and
           CNGS (if any) cycles.

(the super-cycle lenght has to shorter than 46 sec,
the 4 injections NA61 cycle reads:
           4x3.6 (injections) + 1 (acceleration) + 10 (flat top) + 1 (dump) = 26.4 sec
    • 16:00 → 16:20
      sequence of data taking 20m
Speakers: Django Manglunki (CERN), Ilias Efthymiopoulos (CERN), Marek Gazdzicki (Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Univ. (DE))

The agreed sequence of data taking is:

         13 (50%),   20 (100%),   30 (100%),    back to 13 (50%)
    • 16:20 → 16:40

         Absence at CERN:

                  Django:   September 5-9   and 21-25

                  Ilias:       September 10-12
