Domenico Vicinanza 1-15 June 2006 Major work for EUMEDGRID WP2 ---------------------------------------------------------------- It has been drafted the ToC of the Deliverable 2.2, according to a phone meeting held on June 6th (minutes prepared for that meeting and updated version of ToC available at the following URL http://agenda.eumedgrid.org/fullAgenda.php?ida=a0655). Prepared a template to collect information for the Chapter 4 of the Deliverable 2.2 and sent to Kevin Vella (Univ. of Malta) to be distributed within the Technical Board. Start working to the D2.2 Chapter 1 (GRID MIDDLEWARE), section 1.1 (EGEE-0) and section 1.2 (EGEE-1) and Chapter 3 (SITE INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEPLOYMENT), section 3.2 (EGEE-0 MIDDLEWARE INSTALLATION (LCG 2.7)), section 3.3 (EGEE-0 MONITORING AND TESTING (LCG 2.7)), section 3.4 (EGEE-1 MIDDLEWARE INSTALLATION (GLITE 3.0)) and section 3.5 (EGEE-1 MONITORING AND TESTING (GLITE 3.0)). Major work for LCG Testing; major changes in workplan ---------------------------------------------------------------- The major work within this group was on the CVS repository which has been set up at the end of May, to contain the up-to-date test suite, developed after the Gilbert Grosdidier Mainscript package. The test suite has been completed and made available, together with installation instruction (through CVS) at the URL: http://lcgctbd.cvs.cern.ch/cgi-bin/lcgctbd.cgi/testsuites/edg-tests/opt/edg/ Major temporary change in the workplan: the contribution of the test and certification activities will be suspended for almost three weeks, to concentrate all the efforts to the Deliverable 2.2 writing, editing and coordination activities. This decision has been taken in agreement with Florida Estrella and Markus Schulz. Alexandre Duarte 01-15 June 2006 Major work for EELA ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I finished my studies about Glite and now I started to install and configure some of its services in the CERN pre-production environment. I studied the pre-production procedures and so far I have been successfully in installing and configuring the LFC (LHC File Catalog) and I’m starting now to work with the VOBOX. Also I have been studying the main concepts related to certification authorities. Checked out the SAME framework source code from the CVS repository and started a code review.
