Spectra of identified charged hadrons measured in pPb collisions at the LHC at $sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5 $TeV are presented. Charged pions, kaons, and protons in the transverse-momentum range p_T = 0.1-1.7 GeV/c and for central rapidities are identified via their energy loss in the CMS silicon tracker.
