PS Application Software Renovation Working Group: results and proposal (S. Deghaye)

The PS Complex Control Software Renovation Working Group was mandated in May 2007 to study the possible solutions for the renovation of the PS complex high-level control system. After a requirement gathering phase, LSA and the PS system were evaluated. None of the solutions offers either a sufficient coverage of the requirements nor the capabilities needed for such a system. Therefore, the working group proposes a new system (InCA) based on standard AB/CO modules such as LSA, JAPC monitoring and OASIS.
