Meeting starts :
- Daniel reports about the last Steering committee : planning the workshop in January, they want to involve people from other fields (lightsources, FEL, etc. etc. ) to encourage technical exchange ; last week there has been a meeting on system redesign, the cost changes at lower energies must be addressed, mainly the sources and the drive beam generation will be addressed : Ioannis, Alexey, Roberto, are studying cost saving solutions, the klystron based version of CLIC is also to be reviewed and understood, there will be also an effort to study the impact of key parameters on the design (BDS, ML, etc. etc. ) : the optimization procedure (or configuration evaluation) should take less time than in the past (where each configuration took several months);
