Description
European Mobility Week: Moving in the right direction

On the occasion of European Mobility Week (16-22 September 2012), the Health, Safety and Environmental Unit would like to encourage the development of sustainable mobility.

European Mobility Week aims to promote a complete shift towards green transport by inviting people to try out alternatives to car use, to improve their health and quality of life. Moving towards sustainable transport reduces greenhouse-gas emissions as well as noise pollution and stress.

The move also plays an important role in the creation of a new culture for urban mobility, in which people are more aware of environmentally friendly development issues. Bus, train, bike, foot, car sharing... make a choice!

On 20 September you are invited to attend the conference "everyday good nutrition" as part of the "Move! Eat better" campaign, and to visit the stand in Restaurant 1 to learn more about car-sharing and gas vehicles. The GS-ME and GS-IS groups are running these initiatives.
