Study of B meson decays to hadronic final states without a charm quark probes the dynamics of both weak and strong interactions, and therefore plays a key role in understanding the charge-parity (CP) violation and low meson spectroscopy. In this talk, I shall discuss recent results on charmless hadronic B decays using data collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
