09:30 → 10:30 Analog/Digital Video Distribution (J. Tyr)

Video distribution is one of the main services in the CCC as it allows to observe signals and events from any part of CERN accelerators.Major part of the video distribution is done with analogue video signal and recently the MPEG video stream has been introduced as an alternative distribution. This talk will present the tools for configuring and observing video signals in CCC together with the video distribution infrastructure, from the signal acquired in the accelerator to the screen in the CCC.

Vito will present the work done so far by the TEX team in resolving the performance problems of the Generic Java Applications (Workingsets/Knobs) in the PS Complex.
