Description
Next-to-leading order Monte Carlo event generators are widely used to make predictions at the LHC. One of the most recent improvements in these tools deals with the merging into one single inclusive prediction of events coming from various matrix-element multiplicities. One of the proposals for this merging ("FxFx merging") has recently been implemented in aMC@NLO. In this talk I shall discuss this method in detail.
