Description
Lattice calculations of B-meson's matrix elements represent a challenging problem. The presence of both a high energy scale, m_b, and a low energy scale, m_{u,d} or Lambda_{QCD}, requires the discretization of large physical volumes with very small lattice spacings, hardly affordable in current lattice simulations. I will discuss a finite size scaling technique devised to cope with such a two-scale problem and, in particular, its application to the calculation of the hadronic form factors entering into the decay rates of the processes B --> D l nu.
