Description

Multijet events will be ubiquitous at the LHC, including most of both BSM signals and the associated QCD background. Therefore, assesing quantitatively the performance of different jet algorithms is important to optimize jet finding at the LHC. After a short review of the status of jet algorithms and the progress in the recent years, I will present results about an strategy to quantify the quality of different jet definitions for precision LHC phenomenology.
