11:20 → 11:35 ROC update

ROC manager update ************************* There have not been any ROC manager meetings in May. There have however been EGEE-III related meetings: http://indico.cern.ch/categoryDisplay.py?categId=339. The EGEE transition meeting on May 8th: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=31365. There was no report but it looks to have covered standard topics: COD; monitoring; SLDs... A series of automation meetings have been happening and today there is an SA1 coordination meeting: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=33967. GDB ****** Agenda: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=20229. Several T2Cs joined at various times for the meeting. This was the first meeting with a defined T2C - report to be circulated. Discussions covered: SSC3 and changes in EGEE/OSG/WLCG policies. Developments for WNs (sub-clusters); The SAM test framework and plans for the future with focus on experiment SAM tests (what is being done and what will be done); Storage (especially SRM2.2 status); Routing tickets directly to sites; what does an EGI mean for WLCG and finally how are things going so far in the May CCRC. ops meeting ***************** Agenda: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=34181 Notes: Not a lot to report from this meeting. There are several PPS releases in preparation (details on the ops agenda) gLite 3.0.2 R49. We can expect gLite 3.0.2 R42 in production soon. The SL4 WMS is expected to be released on 29th May. * The urgent update of CA rpms was announced. SAM tests will flag this as critical from today.
