PMB meeting 2007-Nov-06 Note: NEXT MEETING will be on TUESDAY, Nov 13, 10.00 CET Minutes Ake (minutes), Zofia, Lauri, Mario, Katrina (tried to call in, but EVO didn't work properly) 1. DoW update - URGENT - Ake sent out a clarification, including earlier mails from Enric on this subject. Todo: - Update the DoW - see if there is any changes we need to do. ------> If there are any changes, you need to add a comment to the Document Log in the beginning of the document. ------> 1.1) Esp. NA3 and NA4 need to update their numbers (see mail from Enric). - Add text about "the changes are in line with the reviewer's recommendations..." - (Ake) Write a formal 'amendment letter' to the package and send everything to Enric - THIS WEEK - Ake needs the updates by tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. 2. QR - Deadline Nov 15 - Ongoing, got input from Norbert. -----> Ake will send out new version (including Norbert's changes) 3. D&M - DNA2.6 will be ready for review on Nov 12. 4. AHM ----> Ake to send details to Zofia to create AHM web page 5. AOB - Short discussion on BG2 proposal. The scoring most likely to be _before_ the hearing. Lots of rumors, but nothing substantial, except that some of the bigger project have been asked to reduce their proposal budgets. ---------------- Agenda 1. DoW update - Deadline for update is October 29 (PASSED). - All activity leaders: Read through the http://www.balticgrid.org/Internal/PMB/files/BG_Annex_I_Updated_v5r1.doc and the BG-DoWUpdates-v1r0-KTH.doc sent earlier and send updates to Ake. - Status: got input from Zofia, Norbert and Florida 2. QR - Deadline Nov 15 ToDo: -> Ake attached the previous version, all activity leaders to update their chapters accordingly. -> Deadline for update: Nov 15. After this date Ake will compile and send out a version for final comments. Clarification: - In BalticGrid there is no NA1 deliverable for sending quarterly reports to the Commission. - We have a document, see attached, that we on a quarterly basis update by adding information on work performed since the last quarter. - This updated document is send to the commissioner (Enric) to keep him updated on the progress. - As it seems we haven't sent any updates since the last review, something we need to change as soon as possible. - All activity leaders need to update their part from where they last reported up till October 2007 and send the updated chapter to Ake. - Deadline for this is Nov 15, not Oct 26 as stated in earlier minutes when Ake thought it was only information for Aug-Oct 2007 that was needed. - - - Note: this is not 'only' to help Enric to understand how we're doing in the project (he sees the D&M as well) BUT also very important for the next review. Reviewers have limited time to do the reviews. Reading the project reports is the first thing they do (I know from my own experience as reviewer). 3. Deliverables and milestones - The DJRA1.x have changed dates - October deliverables (PM24) should be sent to PMB for review on October 31. 4. AHM agenda - Minor changes, see v0.5below. - Note: there will be (as last time) a 100 EUR registration fee to cover some of the local costs (meals). - Current estimates is 48 persons for this meeting: Sweden (4), Lithuania (12), Estonia (8), Latvia (12), Poland (10), Switzerland (2) 5.
