News from Daniel:
- Deadline for IPAC is Monday
- Snowmass meeting in Boston: US meeting for High Energy Physics. They have a working group on future machines (electrons, muons, etc. etc.). They discussed what should be supported: ILC does not seem appealing, Muon Collider would lead the intensity frontier (not the energy frontier): it seems that the Machine - Detector interface is still behing. A new ircular lepton machine seem to cost as much as new linear collider. Daniel presented CLIC, there was interest in the CLIC technology (cheaper than super-conductive).
