Description
Quantum Information science is a new and interdisciplinary field of research, bringing together quantum physics, computer science, and information technologies. It uses quantum mechanics principles and features, such as superposition principle, entanglement, and non-cloning theorem. These features have been incorporated into the classical information theory to improve or to create new information processing tasks in computing, cryptography, and communications. The research objectives of our group include experimental implementations of the secure quantum multiparty protocols, entanglement assisted communications, and photon/matter quantum interfaces.
