SCOAP3 US Focal meeting

SCOAP3 is a consortium aiming to facilitate Open Access publishing in High Energy Physics by re-directing subscription money. Many countries have already expressed their interest to join SCOAP3. Only worldwide consensus can make SCOAP3 successful, and every single US library can make a difference to make Open Access happen. The University of California at Berkeley will host a focal meeting to discuss the implementation of the SCOAP3 model in the US. Breakout sessions will elaborate a strategy for library consortia and individual libraries to join SCOAP3. Finally, we will chart the next steps all together. Free registrations (no fees) are open.
