The European Researchers' Night is a Marie Curie Action, which takes place all over Europe on the evening of September 27, 2013. http://www.origins2013.eu/
At CERN, one of the major themes of the Researchers' Night will be "Physics is useful", and we are organising an exhibition on applications of HEP technologies, including hadron therapy. We would like you to come to CERN and take part in this event, and share your research experience with the visiting public. This would also nicely fit in your commitments as Marie Curie researchers, which include dissemination and outreach.
On the Saturday and Sunday (28 – 29) CERN will open its doors to the public: about 100 000 people are expected to come and visit during the Open Days, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could stay for the weekend and help us man the exhibition, give talks, etc.
More info will follow for those available.
Many thanks in advance for your help, it will be lots of fun!
