Proposal to move to Latex instead of MSword, or better to DocBook With docBook (xml/html syntax) one can manage a hierarchy of documents and generate -pdf files -html pages -man pages

the ROOT web site designed 10 years ago must be completely revisited -to optimize the search for users -to use documentation files maintained by developers (all files in SVN)
