Description
Meeting of WG1 for the Boost13 report.
Present: Ben Cooper, Nhan Viet Tran, Andrew Larkoski, Steve Ellis, Marat Freytsis

- Nhan presented q/g correlation studies using samples generated by Marat (see Marat's slides from last meeting).

- Numerous possibilities for extension of these studies (some already mentioned on Nhan slides):
   - Adding ATLAS/CMS variables: ntracks, track width etc
   - Anti-kT 0.8 jets used here: try smaller 0.4/0.5.
   - MVA combinations for the most interesting variable combinations (i.e. those that don't appear to be correlated from the 2-D plots)

- Marat will generate some WW samples as signal for W-tagging studies using the same framework.
   - Hopefully we have some volunteers to start looking at the W-tagging, should be very easy to get going now...

- Nhan's studies not using Rivet
   - WG2 *are* using Rivet so far, and doing rather similar things (e.g. ROC curves, correlations)
   - We don't want to duplicate work here - Andrew/Ben to follow-up in WG2 and try and harmonize approaches.
