Description
directed by Per Fly (Denmark, 2007)

Forestillinger     (Performances) is  a    Danish    TV    series    in    6    parts    by    ex-Dogma director  Per  Fly.     Performances     revolves  around  Marko,  the charismatic stage director who    revolutionised Danish theatre  in  the 1990s.  The  story takes place    during  the rehearsals of  his adaptation of  Venus and Adonis by William Shakespeare. "6 weeks, 6 persons, 6 realities" is the common  caption for the six episodes that  make up Forestillinger.  Each episode shows how the preparation process is experienced by one of the main  characters.  Forestillinger is not one story told from the point of view of different characters,  it’s a completely different story every time.    The six characters live in separate realities, although they believe to    share just one.  Forestillinger shows that the world is not black and white, and that there are as many parallel realities as there are people. With a compelling cast and impeccable rigour, Forestillinger    is an amazing tribute to the complexity and richness of the human    experience.
