Description
That spin derived electric and magnetic field might be an emergent property of textured magnets has attracted much attention since the discovery of Skyrmion latices in, e.g., MnSi, FeCoSi and FeGe. There is a parallel with the regular electrodynamics of superconductors and in magnets the Higgs term signals broken SU(2) gauge symmetry and a unique choice for the spin topological phase and connection A_\mu which differs from that of Berry and which is implicit adopted in most theories. Discussed with be the relation to experiment in general and to Lorenz microscopy in particular. The "spin Maxwell equations" will be introduced.
