ROOT Planning Meeting

o Pere about the slides of Axel - Delayed symbols: Why can't we have rootmaps?
- Philippe: it might not be a general solution. In case for example one has the same symbol in n libraries.
o Valeri:
- Could not inject changes in root in the Atlas builds yet: the build was broken for other reasons. Will do that today.
- Probably reduce committment to ROOT6 because of duties in the visualisation area.
o Marco
- Exception specification problem: tests do not fail, but there is a printout more wrt the ref. Workaround might be
tried, no time to do that yet.
- TF1 integration: the new precision did not solve this. The developers will try to use the cdf and marco may try to
further debug.
- Infinite loop when trying to use a map<string,string> triggers an infinite loop in PyRoot.
- Hard to say more w/o solving these 3 issues.
- Will report a performance issue to see if this is header parsing, PyROOT or something else.

- Callfunc table issue solved for the conditions, but more encountered.
- Speed issue: the load of libs are still slow (minutes).

- Report about current issues: see slides.
- News: go for the interpreter only dictionary with empty selection file and explicit load of libPyCool.
