Description
The NOvA experiment studies neutrino oscillations by utilizing the NuMI neutrino beam at Fermilab. It consists of two functionally-identical, liquid scintillator tracking calorimeters placed 14 milliradians off-axis from the beam and 810 km apart. Precise energy estimation increases sensitivity to the oscillation parameters and comparing different energy measurements helps with event selection. Methods have been developed for the muon neutrino disappearance analysis to measure the neutrino energy of selected events. These techniques
and their performance will be presented in this poster.
