Description
Flavor-dependent neutral current non-standard interactions in
propagation of neutrino induce extra matter effect for neutrinos.
Such interactions for the nu-e and nu-tau sectors have poor
constraints from current experimental data, and they can be as large
as those in the Standard Model. In this talk I would like to discuss
the constraints on such non-standard interactions from atmospheric
neutrino experiments such as Superkamiokande and Hyperkamiokande.
