Discrepancy in the Unitarity Triangle fit from b <-> s transitions

Combining the measurements from Kaon physics, B-factories and Tevatron experiments, we determine the parameters of the CKM matrix in presence of New Physics. A deviation from the Standard Model expectation is observed, induced by the measurement of the mixing phase in Bs oscillations. This result suggests the presence of new sources of flavor and CP violation beyond the CKM matrix, which cannot be accounted for in New Physics models with Minimal Flavor Violation.
